      Tableland Tourism


      "Kargı" is a district which is at a distance of 120 km from Çorum, in the way connect İstanbul with Eastern Black Sea. Main sources of income are rice, okra, tulum cheese and forests which have many types of trees.

      Most of Kargı's villages are forest village. Kargı has natural beauties of its forest villages and also unique tablelands. In recent years, tableland tourism has been developing, more people are interested in Kargı Tablelands. Especially in summers, associations -founded by people born in Kargı but live outside of Kargı- organizes some cultural activities named "tableland festivals" and "keşkek festivals".
