Keşkek is a dish of mutton or chicken and coursely ground wheat. In Kargı, Keşkek is cooked in two cases. One of them, in Ramadan, Keşkek is one of iftar table's indispensable meals. Other case is weddings. Only skilled chefs can cook "Keşkek". They're named "Keşkekçi".
